The major report coming from several outlets is that English Premier League giants Manchester United are the clear favorites to sign French starlet Eduardo Camavinga this summer. The Rennes midfielder reportedly wants to leave the French club this summer and a move to the Premier League especially to Old Trafford, has continued to be mentioned in the media. The French midfielder was not called up to link up with the French national team at the 2020 UEFA Euros despite the brilliant campaign he had last season, but he has done well to earn himself a big move to a bigger club.
United manager Olé Gunnar Solksjær is reportedly keen to add Camavinga to his squad as he continues to build a young team filled with talented stars in a bid to start winning titles from next season, but there are concerns about the future of the young midfielder, with many already suggesting that he could end up like Amad Diallo, who was signed from Atalanta for a huge sum but is not even in the starting eleven yet. Others claim that he could also end up like Donny Van de Beek, who, since joining from Ajax, has not been given the chance to play at the club.
However, regardless, it is said that United could still go ahead and make a move for the midfielder and they believe that a bid of around £30 million would be enough to convince Rennes to sell.
