Norwich city midfielder Robert Snodgrass has stated that Celtic manager Neil Lennon should consider staying at Celtic for the next few months, as he could win the treble with the Scottish outfit. Lennon has been continuously linked with the vacant Norwich managerial job.
It still remains unclear whether he would join the club, who face the threat of relegation before he takes over. Norwich recently parted company with Chris Hughton. In his place, they appointed youth team coach Adams. He has already overseen disappointing defeats against Manchester United, while the prospect of more heavy defeats are in the pipeline.
This is because they will be facing the likes of Arsenal and Chelsea in the remainder of the season. Despite this, Lennon continues to be linked with a move. Snodgrass, who has been an important player for Norwich in the last few years, says that Lennon would be a great manager for the club, but the former Celtic men should consider helping the club win the treble and then joining Norwich. Adams looks unlikely to retain the job on a permanent basis. His team were defeated 4-0 by United at Old Trafford last weekend, while they face a daunting trip to Chelsea in the upcoming match.
Norwich slipped into the relegation zone after the latest round of Premier league matches, and are tipped by the guys at nederland australie odds to drop this season.
“I’m a Celtic fan… so I’d like to see him try to get the treble. The Celtic lads have great things to say about him so if that is what he is wanting [work in England] then good luck to him. But [with] the manager in charge now, even though we are not getting results, we are playing well in certain spells. It will be interesting to see who does get the job. I’m sure Neil Adams will put his name in the hat and push his own claim,” said Snodgrass.
